6K Soap on Bluenose Mountain is where we create great products while we raise our enormous family on the farm. It's a lot of work, and we love it! Every family member helps to make our story a great success.
We are privileged to have the opportunity to combine our passions for farming and soap-making. We use our home-grown ingredients along with other luxurious oils to create unique formulations which naturally nourish your skin and hair. We are Health Canada compliant, palm-free, and insist on sustainable ingredients. We use compostable or reusable packaging wherever possible. Your support for 6K Soap develops and supports your local farm families, which is also good for the environment! We care about you, and craft our art for the benefit of all Canadians. Join us in the sustainable movement by supporting local producers for the benefit of us all!

We are open and we could not be more excited! Come on up and experience the joy of the 6K lifestyle.
Our farm store is now open and filled with all your favourites. You will find our handcrafted 6K Soap products, clean and tasty meats in the freezer, fresh farm eggs, and we also carry beautiful items from local artisans we love to support.
Stop in for a fresh espresso or a nice cold lemonade, say hello to the animals, and take in the peaceful forest setting. Whether you are a neighbour or visiting from out of town, we are always happy to welcome friendly faces.
Come for the soap, stay for the smiles. We hope to see you soon.
Hours of Operation
We keep Farmer’s Hours, which for now means:
Monday to Friday: 11 AM – 3 PM
Saturday: 11 AM – 4 PM... unless the crops, critters, kids, or a runaway guinea fowl say otherwise!
Outside these hours? Call or text 1-250-308-8902 we’re often available!
Note: We’ll be extending our hours soon. Stay tuned for updates!

Fun for the whole family, farm style!
We’re excited to invite locals and visiting families to come enjoy some time with our friendly farm animals at our new petting zoo, a free experience for everyone to enjoy!
Whether you’re stopping in after a hike up Bluenose Mountain, heading out to the Aberdeen Columns, or on your way to one of the beautiful nearby lakes for camping, fishing, or a day of recreation, this is the perfect place for a quick and joyful break.
Bring the kids, say hello to the animals, learn their names, take in the fresh air and forest views, and grab a lemonade or homemade treat from the store. It’s a fun little destination for all ages and a great way to experience the 6K lifestyle.
The gravel road is well maintained and suitable for most vehicles. Maybe not the best for low-riders, but we do not see many of those around here anyway.
Come on up, enjoy a wholesome mini adventure, and make some happy memories with us. We can’t wait to see you!

Let's support each other! If you are looking for inventory, we have something handmade for you. Whether you would prefer your own label or ours, 6K Trading Post products meet Health Canada criteria for sale in stores across the country. We include GS1 registered bar codes on our packaging for easy automated checkout with your store's Point of Sale system. We offer keepsake options for weddings, baby showers, anniversaries, and custom gift arrangements.
